Cell Shifts for Polynars

Introduction

A polynar is a plane figure formed by joining equal squares at whole or half edges. A cell shift is a pair of arrangements of a polyform that differ in only one cell.

Here I show the shortest possible cell shift for polynars of order 2 and 3, using as few tiles as possible.

Mark Smith suggested studying cell shifts for polynars.
